Living Conditions
The Living Conditions in Concentration Camps are very unsanitary. There were contagious diseases in Auschwitz Concentration Camp. In Auschwitz, the prisoners lived in old brick barracks. Hundreds of three-tier wooden bunk beds were installed to each building.
700 people were assigned to each barrack. The roofs were damp and leaky. The straw mattresses gave prisoners diarrhea and that made it difficult for there living conditions. The barracks were filled of different sorts of vermin and rats. |
