Daily Meals
In the Concentration Camps the jews were served food daily,
but not all were served. The people that made the food only made a
certain amount of food. That meant not all prisoners got food.
In the mornings the prisoners were given a choice of coffee or herbal tea.
For lunch the prisoners were feed watery soup sometimes if
they were lucky they would find a piece of turnip or a slice of
a potato skin in there soup.
In the evening the prisoners got a piece of bread that weighed
300 grams and it had a tiny piece of sausage in it. When a prisoner
found a dead body with bread they would take the bread from the corps.
They would also take the corps shoes "Boots" and sell them. If they sold them that would get
them a place to live. Lack of food and hand labor would cause the prisoners to get sick and
suffer from starvation sickness.
